August 20, 20196 yr Popular Post I finally removed a shrub that was over grown and filled in the space with some planter boxes. Planters are open on top with a shelf inside for the pots to set on. It doesn't take much for a morning glory to take hold.
August 20, 20196 yr Looks great. The Morning Glory sure didn't waste any time growing. Must be all that rain we've had.
August 20, 20196 yr Author We planted these several years back and they haven't grown for awhile. Loosening up the soil when I install the planters rustled up the seeds. We would train them across the columns of the porch and then kill them off just before Halloween. Put a fog machine on the banister and it adds a great effect.
August 24, 20196 yr I love those morning glory's Bob, those are really cool. Very nice woodworking too! Did you use cedar fence boards for the lumber?
