Got the laser assembled. Lots of T&E. Haven't got power to it yet. Baby steps. Watched a video of this exact machine in action. Compared to my little 1.5 W, this 5.5 W one flies. will get it powered up and wrung out, today. But, first I need to get it off the dining room table. Phyl wouldn't be too happy with burn marks on it.

Haven't been in the shop.  Been dealing with some of life's curve balls, nothing health wise, and doing some visiting of friends.

Phyl might not mind the burn marks if they happened to be arranged in an artistic manner.

Monday...:BangingHead:

Knee has been checked out, Xrayed,,,and then given a shot..with a LONG needle...:JawDrop:Doesn't need surgery....just Uncle Arthur is now in the knees :OldManSmiley:

taking today off....will see about tomorrow...:ChinScratch:

Hope that shot gives you some lasting relief, Steve. Has anyone broached the subject of replacement?

Nope.    Doctor didn't even feel like any kind of surgery....may be 3-4 times a year, get another shot...

What a bear Steve, so I am guessing it was a cortisone shot? With the big long needle. My wife had to get that done now and then, in her hand, and a few years ago her neck was really bad and they stuck that long needle in her neck, she was a champ! I squirmed.

I hope your feeling better Steve, you got a ton of miles on those stumps ground pounder!

That's what I get 3-4 times a year for my wrist and arm.  Pins are NOT fun.... they gave me the 60,000 version, not the Six Million Dollar Man one.:JawDrop:

Man gunny, those are a pain, literally! Do they work relatively well?

Can still shoot a nice pattern, even better if target is moving.  I like a challenge!!

Overall they work okay.  I get Tinnitus a lot from over use.  The arm and wrist are indestructible, or so I am told.  The part where the pins ends and the muscles and such attach is where it gets inflamed.  You get used to it and adapt, use my left arm to do as well as anyone that is right handed.  Writing never was good so who notices?

Others are much worse off than me, that helps me keep it all in perspective.  Grin and bear it, keep moving forward.
