I got a bit of a chuckle when I read that he landed in a pig sty and got out. Good camo, yes? I recall reading that some guys landed in trees and couldn't get down before being shot. Others landed in flooded fields or swamps and were stuck with all their heavy gear, some drowned. :(

Yeah, war is hell.  Too bad the people that want to use force to "keep the peace" rarely if ever have to pay for it.

Totally agree. Some pols are very serious about their responsibilities while others simply don't seem to care.
