Remember when building things always make room for clamps in your design..

 

  Lots of furniture legs are constructed when its time to repair a loose of broken leg its kinda hard to position a clamp where it will pull the parts up tight to let the glue set up.... When I started laying this quilt rack out the picture I was sorta going by did not allow for a clamp to be used at all. There was a bad angle where any kind of clamping would slip off without building some jigs.  So I changed the drawing enough so I could get a straight pull with the clamp showing.

I agree and this has bitten me on the butt more than once.
