February 14, 20197 yr Popular Post I cannot be the only one here that uses a circular saw occasionally. I was at Lowes a couple of days ago to get a new plywood blade and next to them were Irwin 7 1/4" blades on clearance. I think one blade was $5 and change, normally 6 or 7? Next to them were three packs for $3.74! I cannot even mail one out for sharpening for a buck and a quarter! Anyhow, if you use a general construction blade occasionally, how can you go wrong? Carbide tipped to boot... With the Vets discount that is 3 blades for $3.37 Edited February 14, 20197 yr by Cal
February 14, 20197 yr How can they make blades that cheap, especially carbide tipped? I don’t use a circular saw, but do use a miter saw now and then. Sure, it’s a different tooth configuration, which is probably why I paid more for them.
February 14, 20197 yr Thanks Cal. Great purchase. I'm still using up some of the Irwin blades I bought a few years back at similar low prices. Basically the same other than the branding label design printed on them. I suspect a new shipment will have new labeling and a higher price.
October 10, 20196 yr Just got two 10" 60 tooth new Irwin blades from the junkyard... What people throw away....
