Molding undercover

Featured Replies

Question I just came into some molding  my uncle got it and decided he wanted something else so was wondering can this be stored outside as long as it is out of the weather??? Or don't risk it?

If it's been finished, it should be ok. You might want to wrap it tightly with plastic sheets...the kind you get by the roll.

If it's unfinished, I wouldn't chance it.

guys, why would even unfinished shaped moulding be different than any other board:  sticker, cover?

If outside I would put it in cardboard, keep it dry and let it breath.  I'd be afraid of mold.

agreed..

I wouldn't, unless you figure on cutting it up for kindling, to use for fire starters. Maybe Ok where Gene lives in a very dry climate out of the sun light, but anywhere else I would not risk it.

Just saying,

Herb
