Its been cold and nasty, so I haven't been able to do much in my unheated half of my garage, I call it my shop My wife makes ALL kinds of craft things, sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc. She asked me to make her a colorful ( I call it "twine winder") Its intended use it to keep your craft twindings

stored there. However my wife is also going to use it to display all the colorful twine (she made it)

She wanted it made with colorful wood and gave me mixed dimensions. Yep, mixed. "I want it from here to here and about this wide."

I'll post a picture when she has it full

At first you were talking about one of those devices that wind yarn into a ball. Love the colors you picked 

Lew, she has one of those too. Sometimes it don't work with certain yarns and someone has to help her and.............................

Me Missus crochets among other things (I tell Her she’s crochetty). Once a month I need to retrieve her hooks from the insides of the chair. Otherwise I may have limited usefulness to Her.

That looks like one of those cool things you get to make because no-one else but your Missus would ask for. If She has friends who also do the same crafts, you might be asked to make more, or it might go the other way, “Don’t you DARE make one of those for someone else, I want to have the only one”

She is working on another project now and said she'd get around to it............something I always say.
