In closing

We want to thank everyone again for their participation in the 2018 Christmas project, we are very proud of how our Patriot Woodworkers, guests, and sponsors came to the table, and made this all happen.

Please see a few images of the kids with some of their gifts. Michelle Bassett sent us these images to be displayed in our community.

If you have not yet seen the personalized gifts sent to the Bassett's please see this topic at Woodworking and Blanket for the Bassett's.

Wounded Warrior Dad Bassett and his two boys Dalen and Aiden Christmas morning, some wild PJ's!

Dalen had "What Do You Meme?" on his list, just one, The Patriot Woodworkers got him the whole set. I have no idea what this game is, anyone?

Both boys received from you all, several pairs of Levis.

Dalen and Aiden both received Amazon gift cards from John and Debra Mordus.

Both boys received "Beatz" headphones, they had just "headphones" on their Christmas list, but since I have no idea what's in and what's not, I had my own kids pick these out for the boys, apparently these are all the rave this year for headphones, they are supposed to cancel out all outside noise, and the sound is supposedly spectacular, for the price our Patriot Woodworker's paid for these two sets, the sound better be awesome! My kids assured me they are as awesome as the cost.

The above images are a small representation of what you all paid back to this Warrior Family. From what Mom Bassett told me, they had a wonderful Christmas.

I'd like to thank you all for making this Christmas a wonderful event.

Some Quotes from Mom Bassett

The below quotes are from emails we had with Mrs. Bassett, we had over 60 emails together, and there is so much more with her expressing her gratitude, I could flood this page with them.

I made sure that she understood, no thanks was or is ever necessary, we are simply paying back what we owe to her family. Us Americans and much of the world, we owe our freedoms because of men like James Bassett, who answered the call, and paid the price. For those of us sitting at home and enjoying our lifestyle and freedoms to move about and perform our daily routines and rituals, make no mistake, if it wasn't for the men and women of our United States Military, our lives would change in a heartbeat, without our military, we have no protection, without protection, our shores would be over-run by those who would exploit our weakness if we did not have those who serve our nation, standing post with rifle in hand, and willing to do the un-heard of.

Thank you Michelle, James, and boys. Your family is still paying the price.

John, please pass on our deepest appreciation to all of The Patriot Woodworkers. Your group of Angels went out of their way to show my family so much love and a bounty of blessings. God bless you all and keep you all in his light for a happy and healthy 2019.

Mrs. Bassett

I can't thank you all enough. You all went above and beyond to bless my family. Everything was so personal and really meant so much to us. Thank you for your amazing hearts.

Thank-you John for the disclosure and most of all thanks to you and your family for all the time, energy, and compassion you contribute behind the scene to allow us to give back. Without The Patriot Woodworker, this would not be possible. It is an honor and a blessing to be a small part of a group with such genuine compassion for our unsung heroes. May God Bless America, our military men, women and their families and the Bassett family in 2019.

You did good Oh Great Leader.  Give yourself a pat on the back.

...as always.  You, your wife, and even your kids deserve the biggest pats. You are the ones that put in all of the work, coordination, and effort to collect, order, and send them their Christmas. Without you, all of the funds would be useless.

Thanks, again, Morris family.

I was glad to be part of this operation.  A special thanks to those who gave their time to make it happen.  A feel good win for the Christmas Season.

Only one question and I think you're working on the answer.   Thank you.  :Praise:

Thank you Morris family, for all you did and continue to do.

Kinda an illustration of why this group is so important to me. Thank you to all for your generosity, time and effort to help others, and be an example of the good side of humanity.

Dunno 'bout everbuddy else. I's just in it for the prizes. Truthfully, the best prize was the big smiles on the Basset's faces.

I second what Gene just said. The expressions on those guys face tells it all.
