She asked how I made this years bulbs and I told her they started out as pieces of dowel rod. Turns out her new boyfriend works for a local millwork. She brought me a sampling of what he brings home to burn in the fireplace. Mostly Oak 1 1/4" up to 2 1/2". Most of the larger ones are glue ups but I'll take it. Report
