I'm not much of a carver but this title looked interesting.  Nice result on this infomercial video.   I think I did see him use a hammer once and a mallet an chisel once, so I guess it qualifies as "hand-carved"?  https://youtu.be/gSYLrtt3gfU

    Looks like a type of carving to me.  I would have ended up with a pile of shavings and dust.

    Maybe not what one thinks of hand carving in the traditional sense, but carving none-the-less IMO.

    Actually pretty cool to transform those chunks of wood into that.

    I like that a lot, I would love to hang that on our wall, right over the fireplace! Beautiful, and wonderful color.
