From the faces I put one these folks they don't seem too happy but I'm still in the finishing stage so maybe they will cheer up before I get them shined showered and shaved! The baby was wrapped in swattling clothes and I couldn't find any of those while building this picture...

Impressive!!!

Fine and beautiful work.  No need to be concerned about the expressions on their faces.  Remember, Joseph had to walk alongside this slow donkey.  And, she had to ride the lowly bumpy beast.  I suppose he must have gone to a lowly rent a center to rent that donkey.  Now, if he really cared, he could have upgraded to a camel with a slower and softer stride.  Or, maybe, upgrade all the way up to a Jaguar.  Who knows, if he showed up with a Jaquar, he may have impressed the inn keeper enough to get a room.  And, it could be that he could have used the Jaguar as a tax deduction.  After all, it was a trip for to comply with governmental regulations and pay his taxes.  So, he picks a donkey and all three of them are tired from that difficult journey.  And, of course, they had all gone through the exercise of child birth.  Oh, what a night!

 

I hope no one finds this detrimental to your beliefs.  Just a fun way to look at the scene.

The talent here is incredible. Another example of where a project is more art than just craftsmanship! (I hope I phrased that right and didn’t insult anyone). I’m not sure I could devote the rest of my life to WW’ing and produce work like this. Bravo
