January 4, 20197 yr Popular Post Went to do a glue up this evening and pulled out my hole saw cut offs. When putting them away I wondered if anyone else saved these. While we use forstner bits and such some more general carpentry projects require a hole saw. As a kid I would collect them and make wheels for stuff. Now, well they make a great spacer that is not square when that is what you need. Maybe not a great tip but cut offs can be extremely useful. IF you have them stored, and IF you can remember where you put them last.
January 4, 20197 yr I save mine too and quite often use them for hand wheels on jigs and other things. They do make good wheels too on occasion. Also keep some handy for a template for scribing corner rounding. They are handy for feet for shop cabinets. Herb Edited January 4, 20197 yr by Dadio
