Try using a sharpie -  mark it all up,  Or apply some hot melt glue, or  some packing tape.

Yes.  I makes really nasty metals that get gooey gummy and  ugly  cut more like easier to machine metals

So if you have pure aluminum or Copper and it's grabbing and sticking and leaving a horrid surface? Try this trick.  It can make all the difference.

applying ink or  any adhesive to the metal's surface  reduces the force of cutting by as much as 50%, leaving a clean cut in seconds. The quality of the machined surface also greatly improved. Watch a YouTube video to see how at

I do understand the perils of cutting soft metals but marking the metal before each cut would slow the process down.  It is odd that works. 

Who would have guessed that a Sharpie, White-Out or A Glue Stick would work like that.

Wonder if there was any significant difference between the black & red Sharpie?
