January 1, 20197 yr Popular Post I have been asked about the Bow Sanders I was using in the Wooden Block Plane Post. I went back and found the tutorial I did on another forum an 2016. Quote:(2016) This year I made all the members of the woodworking group a bow sander for the spirit of the holidays. I will let the pictures tell the story. they were made from maple and an old poplar plank I had laying around. the first picture is what was left of the plank. The sandingbelts were from WoodWorkers Supply, Kingspor. Herb

Are the sanding belts 1" x 30" just folded flat? If'n you don't mind, do you have OA dimensions you are willing to share somewhere? BTW...noticed the cart box you used while applying finish...GO Harbor Freight!

If I was only making one or two for myself, I would just cut a belt sander belt lengthwise. I have parts of each roll left over. I will measure one tomorrow. Herb Edited January 1, 20197 yr by Dadio

January 1, 20197 yr Marvelous and, such generosity. I made a couple different sizes for reaching the inside areas of some band saw boxes. But, mine were clunkily made with plywood. Not nearly as nice as yours.
January 1, 20197 yr You need to do a blog on this and the planes so we can easily look back at the great builds you are doing
