Used tools and machinery

I'm fortunate to live in a mid sized town that has a internet local classifieds, and a used tool and machinery store. With all the cheaply made imported stuff out there nowadays thats getting more expensive I find myself buying more used american made and less new. Like yesterday I went to the local used tool and machinery store Tools4U to see if there was anything that I couldn't live without, and came out with several small items. A Craftsman 6" magnetic parts dish, a Lisle razor blade scraper new in a unopened package, and a old vintage Estwing EH-90 close quarters hack saw. Did I mention that I'm addicted to gadgets ?

It takes all my will power to go thru one of those stores and not spend everything in my pocket.

I try to avoid going in, I know I'd spend all the money in my pocket, and then some.

Nice finds.  I like the gadgets too.

Bad news Charlie...there's no known treatment let alone a cure.

Since I realized that I own 41 flat screwdrivers I've been trying to limit myself to items I don't have more than 2, in this case I would have purchased 2 out of 3 because I have 2 magnet trays. I've also realized that the price overrules the plan.:WonderScratch: Good deals.

Sounds like to need to focus on Philips for a while.:P Then move on to Torx.;)

Good luck with that. Keep in mind when your palms will start sweating, you'll need a quick fix and at that point, almost any tool will do at the time especially one you don't need.

Man am I feeling better having read you guys comments.  I just want a 3rd drill press.

Philips are in a solid 2nd followed by control, split & nut drivers. Old drafting sets, compass & dividers seems to be my issue now.

Depends on who you ask.  If we are talking my ex, well burning me at the stake would be in order I suppose.  Something about not answering texts, phone calls, emails etc etc.

LOL
