Ornament supply goes down

Each year, just before Christmas, my daughter and my grandkids come over and raid my tree ornament supply. That's my Christmas gift to them. They got 20/30 and I have another daughter that will also get about the same amount. Of course my wife gets first choice.

Anyway, I just finished this one and since my wife get first choice, it is already hers

I had one heck of a time with the red bleeding over as I sanded. I think the light colored wood was much too poreus. It was a scrap and didn't think to check it out first.

It's beautiful. Your wife has good taste. I cant see any bleeding. But, it's better that the color bled than you.

You had 60+ ornaments to choose from??? You are amazing.

That's for sure, I don't like to bleed. I HAD about 100 ornaments. I don't like to duplicate. I did make 3 bird cages because I had too. I have to be fair when they all want one just like that one.:D

When do you sleep? You're a machine.:D

Another nice one. I have had some luck with blowing the piece off with air after some sanding but does not work everytime.

And I can't recall you having ever done so Ron.

You have a great vision to see a unique design that always accentuates the wood & finishes.

Another one well done and a very wise man too:rolleyes:

Place your cursor in each one of the quotes. While holding down your CTRL Key, Right click your mouse and a little menu should appear with an option to Remove Quote...you'll have to do that for each Quote you don't want and before Edit time expires.

Thanks Dave,  will try that in the future. Do you have to stand on your head too and grab one foot?

Just kidding, thanks for the help. Should have read the manual.

That is a beautiful ornament Ron

Looks good Ron, I don't see the color bleed either. I like your jewelry fixings too.

Steve

You do such beautiful work Ron.  We are honored to have your work hanging on the EWT Christmas tree!
