November 13, 20187 yr One drawback, what if there is a pipe behind the drywall. When we would cut in old work boxes, (they are new that's just what they were called), we would trace the outline of the box on the wall and cut it with a keyhole saw. One cut horizontal and one cut vertical. If the saw would scrape across anything metal you stop and go to plan "B', relocate. The cuts in the wall can be easily patched.
