November 2, 20187 yr Popular Post I ran across this little beauty at Goodwill, paid all of one buck, and it's been a great tool, "one ring to rule them all". I'd used a plain jane clipboard for several years, and it's ok, but the storage version allows a calculator, pen/pencils, tool info, etc. Also harder to lose. New ones on Amazon for about 10 bucks. Popsicle stick optional.
November 2, 20187 yr I like those Pete, I have one version similar but aluminum, they are completely handy and useful, once you try one of these, you'll never go back to the regular clip board! Great find sir!

I like the convenience of being able to lose everything at once versus one-off, random loss. Sweet find Pete. Goodwill is a great resource for a variety of useful and practical items. Thanks.
November 2, 20187 yr Back in the day when I worked for Coca-Cola as a delivery driver, we had metal clip-boards similar to this that were about 5/8"-7/8" thick. You could clip all of your invoices (3 pages- 1 for the customer, 1 for the driver and 1 for supervisors) in the order of the stops to keep things in order. After you finished the delivery and got it signed off by the customer you un-clipped it and moved to the back storage compartment. Those metal clip-boards were also good for dealing with dogs that came running at you as well.
November 2, 20187 yr I've got one too. Used it a lot when I did a stint as a handyman for a few years. Very convenient.
