August 24, 20187 yr Just started some beds and have just enough lyptus wood for them. Got it for a good price (free). Wonder if anyone has experience using it and any tips or things to watch out for.
August 24, 20187 yr It's hard, heavy and dense. Close grain. Takes screws exceptionally well, sands easily, cuts with little or no tear out. Similar to mesquite in workability. You probably know its a hybrid and, farm grown for harvesting. One of the "green" woods.
