I lost my phone.  Shaddup~!!  stop lafin

I was in a drawer of a cheap desk  made of mdf. 

The volume was set to max but while right on top of it I could not hear any more than a faint sound.

The applications  for this dampening characteristic are wide open

I have heard that if you breath enough of it, you can't hear anything.

Don't be giving any ideas.  Don't want to see some of the wives to end up missing.

Dampening will make it swell.

  I have a 98 ford F150 with about 200K on it. When it was new and I had driven it for a while, then parked, I could hear the new muffler system (and pipes) cooling down with a series of cracking sounds. As the truck got older and broken in I heard them less and then they could not longer be heard. After a few years, I had to get hearing aids and I knew I really didn't need them, I did it at my wife's insistence. After my first trip in the truck, I stopped and got out, only to again the cracking sound that was still there.  I hate it when she is right
