Mini Tool Box At Back-To-School Sales -- Handy Hint

Featured Replies

As we get into back-to-school sales, they often have plastic pencil boxes for a buck, or even two for a buck.   They make good mini-tool boxes.   I use them to hold things like pneumatic nails and staples that then just fit in the tote for that tool  You can also use them as a portable "junk drawer" for a grab and go mini tool box.  If you use them in your shop, they stack well and you can see the contents through them.

Hello Walmart and the Dollar store.

Watch for the close-out sales shortly after school starts. I bought a couple bags full a couple years ago for 25 & 50 cents each.

I remember the first time you posted this tip a few years ago.  It was a great tip then and still is.  I have found many uses for those.  They come in four or five different sizes too.
