July 27, 20187 yr Popular Post A woman in our choir lost her daughter to cancer. At the reception following the funeral there was a saying, printed on paper and placed on each table. Once I saw this and read it - I gave to my wife to read. Our eyes met and she just nodded - she knew exactly what I was thinking. I had to carve this for her. Here it is. July 27, 20187 yr What a wonderful thought. That is a fantastic carving. I thought it was done with a laser until I read the heading again!
July 27, 20187 yr Another great piece crafted from the heart to the hand. Thanks for sharing the work & the story behind the work.

Thank you - I have been accused more than once that I use a CNC Router/Laser for my carvings - that is a great compliment! They are all done by hand, with a knife! A short story, I did a set of Thy Corvette Commandments (I may post them here too) that I set on my car at shows. A guy argued with me for about 1/2 hour that there was no way that was done by hand! LOL So I took another carving I was working on to the next show - he was there so I called him over and had him watch me carve a few letters. He shook my hand and apologized.
