I needed a piece of wood about 2"X 2" any thickness. I always look for nails, screws, etc. None showing so I cut on the bandsaw and it started out ok and then I knew I run into something. The saw slowed down and it went for over an inch at the slow speed then it speeded up and I finished the cut. There was 2 halves of a screw cut lengthwise right smack down the center. If I had tried to do this on purpose there is no way I could of done this good of a job. Am enclosing a picture. I clamped the 2 pieces of wood together showing both halves.

Darn good BS blade to do that. I never had one that would continue after hitting a screw/nail.

Out of curiosity, what brand/type is the BS blade?

Its a 1/4" standard teeth on a 14 " Delta. The teeth are not carbide.

I finally found out the brand of the bandsaw blade. Its a Lennox. I called and talked with the place where I bought the blade. His business is about 35 miles from my home. I go there because he does a super job sharpening and sells great products.
