Over the last 30 years I have made some crazy things, Gnomes, faces, objects and other crazy things that I put on trees, fences and I've even pulled a knot out of a fence and put a yellow canary in it.  I made this face 20 years ago and my wife said it was time for an overhaul. I cleaned him up and repainted. The fence is about45 feet from the house and he is easy to see. Grandkids still talk about him:)

Dry indeed, we have not had a significant rain in a couple of months. I do water the lawn but it would take a ton of water to keep things green. I give it enough to stay alive. There are some large fires going and very little can be done to stop them. Fortunately they are not located in a populated area. YET

They predict rain a few day away and nothing happens. The last winter snow pack was much lower than normal and that is the water supply for many communities and cities of all sizes in quite a few states.

I'd seen some news reels on some of the fires including the use of large fire planes. I did not realize the Denver area had been suffering such dry conditions. Hopefully the jet stream pattern will shift some and bring you rain.

Now I know why the poor old guy in the fence has his mouth open...begging for a drink:lol:
