June 5, 20188 yr I think it would look better without a base, just hanging on the wall.................... Too many times its hard to find that much flat space without being cluttered and messy looking... Then using Slicks suggestion using smaller slabs hanging with small chains from the clock the other weather gauges. You did suggest it didn't you?
