Well the holly wood planter is finished, and came out fairly well. Best I could do with what wood I had. Started with rough, warped boards, tried to make them presentable.

Most excellent Herb! The arched base with feet detail really enhance the planter box. The live edge turned out very well too!

She should be very pleased with your creativity and use of this wood.

BTW...she's still there and looks like a few others joined in                    A tormented soul perhaps

Well anyway from the hot & humid cheap seats of Western Indiana that's what I see...I probably should try to get out more or get in front of a fan

You missed the sleepy shark with a mouth full of bark, the last one you marked up looks like ole spot the bird dog.

I can imagine all kinds of animals,dogs,cats,owls,whimsical ladies, etc.

You know that you could get a bottle stopper and put in there to plug the hole and give it a finial in the center,Fantastic idea.

It was almost a stopper at one point,considered trash canning it.  Then I went into Save mode and put the bottom molding and feet on it and that kind of made it come together.
