ISO a Local Sawmill

I'm ISO of a small and/or family owned sawmill in SC or near Savannah GA.

Any leads/ideas??

Just trying to spread the "wealth" around a bit & keep the small guy in business.
The personal touch as opposed to the big box experience.

Smitty, Crazy thing is I remember seeing some in/around the low country during our travels, but for a million bucks can't tell you where now...I do remember the big paper mill up river a bit from the Historic District when we took the River Cruises.

I can't make any specific recommendations but a quick Google Search for Sawmills, Savannah, GA yielded these. Not sure proximities to your exact location.

This may help too? http://www.state.sc.us/forest/mhard.pdf No doubt there are some between Hilton Head & Charleston but didn't do that search.

Also, if you haven't already, check Craigslist, Savannah, GA, both Materials & Farm & Garden listings...many of our local, small family mills frequently run listings for materials & services in these two categories.

Hope this helps a little.
