What is the general opinion of The Sikkens Cetol cedar translucent stain. I had finished my deck using Ready Seal last summer and it kind of disappeared in one winter. Thinking of going with the Sikkens.

    Used it on our redwood deck and on a log cabin. It'll hold up against the weather very well. On the deck, we applied two coats about a week apart. Then recoated after 5 years. That was 7 years ago. Still looks good.

    Seems I must not have hit the "submit reply".  I have ordered the stain and it should be arriving tomorrow. Ordered it from " World Paint." Much to my surprise, it is apparently a Walmart company.
