May 6, 20188 yr We still have things to do IN the shop.... Set up the saw vise, for a bit of work.. Tool box sized rip saw, needed a bit of file work done,, Them's some BIG teeth. Got that job done, without much fussing around. Been going through all the scrap piles, had a bunch that I could rip down to 3" wide.. Had way too many 1 x1s sitting around.....kindling. Cleared off the top of the shop dresser... Have a couple items for this spot.. Router and tool box. Fun will be filling all them drawers.... Packed these planes up, into their own case.... Stanley 45 went back into it's own box...until needed, again...stacked these two boxes.. Parked the "new & improved" plough plane on top. Couple boxes of drill bits, sitting on a book of auger bits. The open area on the end? Well, that Fancy box of pine will go there. Working on clearing this mess out....router table is getting moved.. Need to get it a little further back in there. Then I can bring a stand down to the shop, for the second mitre box to sit on. I can move that around as needed. Taking a break for a while.....may be more progress later? Stay tuned....
May 6, 20188 yr Author Popular Post Update: Part 3 is done..for now..need better lighting. Router table is in it's new home ( until needed, again...) I don't remember that stand being so heavy.. PITA to haul done the steps...even before the mitre box and saw were installed.... Saved from the burn pile? And... Will wait and see IF the Makita will still take a charge.... Reclaimed a bit more shop space! 3' wide, by 7' long. Maybe I can wrestle the trash can up the stairs, and out to the firepit? We'll see....
May 6, 20188 yr Like your craftsman tool box. Reminds me of a couple i have. They still make this model, too.

May 8, 20188 yr Author Have been informed that the next Project from the shop will be a bed frame....and might even include headboard project....Went and priced lumber at Menard's today for it.. I also picked up a "drum" for those 1" sanding sleeves....$4....Seems there were about a dozen sleeves in that Craftsman tool chest.....
May 9, 20188 yr Author Popular Post OK...One light fixture is installed, right over the mitre saw stations... Next, a hole in an outside wall, where an old porch light USED to be.....cover was installed to close the 2" diameter hole. Next, spent $2 on a tank of gas for the mower. Everything else on the mower was done. Pumped the "Primer" button 6 times, gave the starter cord one pull....mower started right up! It has set outside since last fall.... Saved my $5 bill, and mowed the yard myself. Got me Cardio for today. Area right in front of the furnace...had an old 5 gal. bucket of paint....with a plastic tub of "stuff" sitting on it's lid......trashed the bucket. Tub was sorted through....trash was tossed. The other "half" of the stuff was all "Legos" items....will leave the tub out where a GrandBRAT can find it...oh, and there was an old rug on top of the tub.....it was unrolled onto the shop floor. Think I'll just sit a spell.....and rest up.....might have done just enough, for one day.
May 9, 20188 yr Author Popular Post Pictures? Looking presentable? Well, other than that ugly rug... A new drum, and a look at those sanding sleeves... Found a few chunks of Walnut,....light-duty chisel... Found these in an old tool box I was throwing out....had to make sure nothing was it, first... New light bulb, showing off the upper saw til.....I think I just MIGHT be set for saws....maybe?
