May 1, 20188 yr I should start first...Either one is the kind I might enjoy starting but after a few hours of having fun my mind might go by-by.. The tea pot will be the easiest since I will be shaping the pot on the lathe then playing with the dremel doing some wood shaping. I don't hollow any out so I can concentrate on the outside only. The last supper has the most pieces so will take longer. Then there is the army thing I'm still not happy about since I got drafted twice then on top of that I find all the medical records were burned in a fire loosing all the medical records from guys getting released from Fort Sheridan, Ill. detailing what took place when in Germany....so I can't really figure out why I even want to hang the plaque on my wall. Working in the shop is stronger than my thoughts of the army I guess and it has almost dropped out of my thoughts on some of the days, but not all!!!! My wife made a very large size rendition using stained glass of the last supper and installed in it in Arkansas so my 30 inch wide picture seems to be more what I can handle... I happen to have a few of each pattern in case any and everyone wants to join in the fun...
May 2, 20188 yr We just can not forget about our time in the service for our country - be it good or bad. Thank you for YOUR service. All three are completely different so we will be "expecting" in-process pictures.
May 18, 20188 yr Author This is the first day I have had to work on the tea pot and contour the handles in to something that might go with it all. Only got this far using maple and kinda rounding the wood to see what I am doing wrong or what.? Different wood so I will have to improvise for I refuse to buy the exotic wood so everything will match.....
