Needed My Ratcheting Tie Downs For A Job.

Featured Replies

Last time I used them was to glue up the 8 sided clock cases. Had to be here somewhere. I bought a set of 4 a bunch of years ago. I looked for all morning with no luck so I hired my wife to give me a hand..The thing I should not do is tell her where they would not be..... and in the garage for sure they could not be in there......Right before lunch she come in to the shop with the three I could not find in the shop....No I remember when we loaded up the 2 loads of scrap iron I used them to secure the load....... so they were still under the back seat of the pickup......exactly where I stored them for later use....

So this time after I started to throw away this large pot for plants I happened to look at the bottom of the pot and there was the price of that pot when bought....woe there, too expensive to throw away so I will glue it up for wife to get more use out of it...but where are those clamps..

Harbor F done it again on the clamps.. 4 clamps with 15 foot long straps was about 5 to 7 dollars way back there..So a person has to cut off the hooks and have wife to sew just the straps on to the ratcheting devise but hey, I am a wood woodworker and consider myself can do anything so why not save some dough ray me ......It does not take a train conductor to figure out how to make wood working clamps out of these clamps but I did take a picture of one just in case someone gets lost in space...  I used two clamps gluing the big bowl, one on the top and one on the bottom and wa-la its back to looking like a pot for plants again...IMG_0231.JPG.3fa56aeb654bf96a3cbc62e28cd81197.JPG

Only time I ever use tight bond 111 is for outside use... I hate it cause all the excess glue goes on my levies and thats not good.....

That pot has only sat busted in my shop for at least 15 years and in the way most of that time just waiting for the right moment... No telling how many dermaters we didn't get to eat because of my busy schedule.

Hey John M. you done gooooood on the update! Thanks
