Good Monday Morning!

Good Monday morning Patriot Woodworkers! What did you get done over the weekend, and what have you planned for the week ahead! Inquiring minds want to know. Please tell us what's happening in your shops, your life, and any events going on with you. Thank you for being here folks!

let me get back to you on that..

Still puppy potty training. Bassets are notoriously difficult to House train. In other news, final sanding of the gun rack should happen today.

Stopped work on Rifle Case #2. Need to jig up for and test the lock miter system that will be used on the case. So, figured that since a bunch of stuff needs to be rearranged, might as well go whole hog and clean the shop and lumber storage sheds, too. Today is day #2. Should be cutting joints by Wednesday. Wish me luck. And, Godspeed, too. Although, I doubt that even He/She can help me move faster.:(

Did it already - up and breathing.  :P

Spent the weekend at my Dad's on the coast. My niece and her husband had reveal party Saturday afternoon for their upcoming litter. I will be a great uncle to Cooper James. The cake was good. With work this week, not sure what I will get done in the shop, if anything, but we will see what we can do.

Had a woodturners meeting Saturday and came home wiped out. Guess I will be out of the shop for the next couple weeks doing other stuff.

still handling the coffee and coffee danish..

My doctor says there is no such thing as stomach "Flu".  Says it is caused by bad food or hygiene.  Just heard that this year.

If your child suddenly has an attack of diarrhea and vomiting, and they complain of a stomachache, you may think to yourself, "stomach flu."

No, not really.

What's often called "stomach flu" is gastroenteritis, an infection of the stomach and intestines. The flu, or influenza, is different. It causes sore throats, runny noses, and general aches and pains. It rarely causes stomach problems.

Viral infections are the usual cause of gastroenteritis. Bacteria can sometimes bring it on.

The sickness usually passes in about 10 days without medication. The first few days tend to be the worst, but you can take steps to help your child get through it.

Got the winter debris cleaned up in the yard.  Cut the grass too.  Was surprised how much it has grown dispite the cold weather and snow we've been having.

SA: Oldest to HS for tennis invitational + 1 match...she was 1-1 for the day; Got stepdads yard cleanup done & debris hauled + dishwasher changed out' old one was 35+ y/o so guess it was time.  Long day...on my way home from his place I just conveniently so happened to go past the best ice cream place on this side of the state...Lime Sherbet is the flavor of the week. I should've got a large cone.

SU: Oil/filter changed + serviced wife's Jeep & some more garage clean-up/ organize; Grand-daughter's were on yard clean-up detail. I was right Friday...they were really surprised:lol:.

Week ahead: Today is oldest 17th birthday; hoped to start mowing today but raining off/on today so work that in this week plus attend conference tennis meets; Rest TBD.

Wow, I'm late to the dance.  Today I spent babysitting the HVAC guys.  System works great but I can't get my WIFI thermostat to see the router.  In fact, it doesn't see any router.  As for the shop, I did get mama's bookcase started.
