Rare Parrot

My granddaughter came in my shop and saw the other bird that I made her mother. She fell in love with it. She has a birthday coming up and I decided to make a rare wood Parrot for her.

The wings are Zebra wood, the black parts are Ebony, there is Padauk, Osage orange and Bloodwood.

It didn't look as I wanted, so I enhanced it with a touch of red/yellow in places. It is glued in place on a piece of quality quarter inch plywood 16 x 11.
