Since I use a lot of my patterns or parts of patterns over and over again I find it easier to glue one pattern on to two pieces

of wood attached to each other, cut out that one pattern with the scroll saw, flip one piece of wood over and I have two patterns the same, one left handed and one right handed..Cause if I tried tracing something I could never end up with two alike...And when I tried to explain what I do ,,,, it didn't sound so hot...

  It seems like doing it this way is faster and at least I end up with two patterns alike..

When printing patterns and things I like to print a few copies cause I loose things real easy......

    Right  there with you!

    That makes sense about creating a mirror image. Much easier than trying to cut 2 identical pieces- separately.
