After I built under the saw extension and started using it I find the long drawers I use from each side of the extension really save lots of steps in my building exercises... I used 20 x 30" sheets of baltic birch and it turned out better than I expected for I do use both sides of the table saw really often. You might give it a thought if you haven't cut you wood. Drawer pulls on each end of the drawer works great.IMG_8216.JPG.19e9e7d8cf3a90158c359fa610b99fa8.JPG

Great idea!

I'd have to remember to push the drawers shut to keep from filling with sawdust. :D

I did have pieces cut to add in the middle to make end to end drawers but realized somethings are longer than others that need to go in a long drawer. You just have to say wow when sliding the drawer in or else it will gooooo all the way out the back side if you are pissed about something. Think goodness I am passed that time in my life!!!

Oh by the way I left room to stow my Micra 3000 miter Gage on top of those drawers. which I had no place, no where, it could be safely store it until I built it....Which now is one of the best selling points for a long drawer set up.!!

Jesse, great idea.

Lew, I don't worry about the sawdust. Now, my shins...that's a different story. Only takes once. I'm a quick learner.

I'd kick those drawers a half-dozen times, and STILL forget they were there!

That cabinet is sitting on a metal roll around frame. Kick it enough and hopefully you might remember it is there.

Multi functional  creating a new adventure in the shop. will only work if your such that you have room to work on the other side  of the saw. My shops have always been too crowded for that type set up. It is a good idea though. That would work on my work bench though as I work both sides of it.

Now I know we're related:P

Probably would not be a good idea for us to be there at the same time and on opposite sides...

Although we might win $10k on America's Funniest Home videos.
