One of the current projects is a set of medal plaques for the team that my 9 year-old granddaughter joined this year.   They like to have a gift for each of the girls when they complete their three meets a year.  The typical medal is on a neck lanyard and they'll hang from the two dowel rods.IMG_9983.JPG.652e8206f36ba78e17a27c7045acc37b.JPG

 

Got some free white oak cutoffs, had a friend who runs a business do the laser engraving, currently stain (Minwax Golden Oak a dye-based stain) is drying prior to applying the finish (probably shellac).
