I think I'm through coloring clock

Featured Replies

Didn't like the clock using the store bought dial so I run some photo paper through the printer and printed one that came off the internet. Its a better blend with what color I ended up with.........first picture, I thought the dial was the wrong color.

The second picture seemed to be a better fit.IMG_9784.JPG.5cd66b01c90a44d2e691598cdaffa8e7.JPG

Now the hard part ... I will try to spray some stickum on the dial in the first picture and lay in the photo of the dial I think I like which is whiteist er looking... without getting the stickum all over the brass and the lens......

Just laying the clock on white paper instead of having it lay on the table saw extension makes it look like two different clocks and since its going on a white wall I was curious as to how it would look.

It looks quite nice, Jesse. Your printed dial does look better, IMO.

Jesse, I print mine too onto label paper then peel the back and stick. I punch the center hole and use a pencil stub to guide it onto the hole in the backer board, peeling 1/2 the paper off and sticking ,then slowly peeling the remainder and sticking it down as I go ,no bubbles.

I forgot to mention that the tricky part is printing on the right side of the paper.

Herb that site didn't work for me. Try me again, I curious.

We were at Office Depot today and could not find any label paper large enough for the 7" clock dials.

So I see, sticker paper instead of label paper!!! Okay!

OK don't know why it didn't print, but try this.

Will the 2 attachments at the bottom open , they are  Open Office files and any word program should open them and they are editable and copy able and can be resized to fit different situations.

Boy oh boy my brain has been frozen from todays 50 degree weather... I always spray the back of the patterns instead of the wood so I will spray the back of the dial and stick it on the darker dial. Thanks guys for helping my stupo moment.
