December 21, 20178 yr 3 minutes ago, Dane Franco said: I was referring to temporary jigs I made a "lazy susan" assembly table due to the extremely small area I have to work in. Temporary jigs are nailed, taped or screwed to the plywood surface. They only last long enough to do the task and then are scrapped so I can continue using the table.
December 21, 20178 yr My kinda jig. Unless it's something I"m going to use over and over, I am not going to spend half a day making a jig to save 30 seconds. Thinking of my jigs Sliding crosscut table -- if I'm not ripping, I'm using it Second sliding crosscut table -- use this one for large pieces (>18" wide) or bevel cuts Miter sliding table -- picture frames and mitered corners Raised panel jig -- holds the piece clamped down at 10 degrees -- don't have to tilt the saw blade and worry about the piece slipping down the insdert Biscuiting jig - clamps pieces down so I can put two hands on the tool Spline-key cutter (this was a 10 minute jig that I've used dozens of times)
