Our president signed a bill, and it looks great for our troops, just a heads up. And it looks great for our NASA program!

Please no politics, this is just a heads up for our vets and active duty who may be reading, some new bene's are in town along with a pay raise, and a chance for retired military to transition to recruiting.

Any controversial commentary regarding our current president and past administrations will be deleted immediately, this is an FYI only for our troops and interested parties.

Please stay away from any commentary positive or negative towards current or past administrations, only commentary on the actual bill itself are allowed.

In order to get the cream of the crop, they should offer enlistment bonuses to guys/gals that score well on pre enlistment tests or, have skills they need. 

But they do that now Gene! These bonuses are pretty danged good ones too depending on the MOS. And the reenlistment bonuses too, nice!

Well, I didn't know that about the sign up $$. Thanks for setting me straight. The re up bonuses I did know about. Our son turned down a healthy one, opting for retirement instead. 

Here ya go Gene, non-prior service enlistment bonuses is what they call them, up to 40 thousand dollars, the high end bonuses go to the doctors, nuke engineers etc. You can still land a cool 8 grand though for two years enlistment for a standard high value MOS such as linguistics and others. Not bad.
