October 17, 20178 yr Its been a week since I got my flu shot and today was the first day that I felt good. I had forced myself to go out in the shop and didn't accomplish much. First order of business today was clean up and that took quite a while. Maybe it is my age (74) or maybe it is this version on the flu shot. I must also tell you that my wife got the snot the same day and it had no effect on her. Maybe I'm a wimp I also found out that the piece of wood I got from Goodwill is junk. It looks beautiful, kind of like a curly black walnut with extra curl. Also extra holes, splits and hidden flaws that crack and split out. And so it goes Edited November 18, 20178 yr by Ron Dudelston tags added
October 17, 20178 yr Ron you may be sensitive to some ingredient in the shot because just the shot will not make you sick. I find that re purposing wood ,for turning anyway, is usually not worth the trouble.
October 17, 20178 yr Glad you feel better. The older we get the easier it is to feel bad. Maybe just a coincidence with the shot.
October 17, 20178 yr The shots change from year to year. I've never had a reaction; wife has occasionally. We both got mild flu symptoms this year.
October 17, 20178 yr I've always heard that if a person didn't get over the flu or tetanus shot in three days that meant that person was fixin to die. So how long has it been since you got that shot? Even worse was when the needle went into the bone and unloaded. It will make a person change sexes! And then that person stops having the urge. I some what have been stumped by the meaning of urge since it didn't spell it out in woodworking terms..

October 17, 20178 yr Sure you can. Doctors say you can reverse it completely , All you have to do is walk and think backwards the rest of your life.. I do know a few folks that must have been afflicted with that when they were real young!!!!!
