I have a fire extinguisher which needs disposed.  Will most local fire houses take them for disposal?

    IDK Dan...would be a great place to start...if not they should be able to direct you. In our small community, we have a Fire Extinguisher service operated by former firemen. That's where I take mine.

    Same here about the fire extinguisher service.

    If it is a small dry chemical unit , turn upside down and expel all the gas.    I wouldn't think it would require special disposal.     Roly
