Looking for font(s)

Featured Replies

I am looking for fonts similar to these images. If anyone has something similar, I would really appreciate it if you could point me to a source for it. Preferably a free font download site like DAFONT, etc.

My daughter is a member of a boutique ring and they are banding together to donate proceeds from sales to the relief fund for Hurricane Harvey. She and I are trying to come up with something I can cut on the CNC. I would prefer straight 2D cutting so I can minimize cutting time.

I like the "R" but I don't have any installed fonts that look like that. And same goes for the script type font in the ellipse or circle. She has many connections with wholesalers and my thinking is cut 'em out of Baltic birch or mdf and sell them that way. No finish work needed on our part. I plan to keep the size to no thicker than 1/2 inch so I can use the 1/8 inch endmill.

Note: I found out through a Facebook post that my lumber yard was not affected by the flooding from Harvey. That's great news.

Your thoughts appreciated. I need to get on this quickly. I have practiced with bunching or whatever it is called in VCarve where the various pieces can be grouped tightly to maximize the usage of the material being used.

Here is one I was playing with but not happy with it.

MT, I just took a quick look through my fonts library.  A couple quick hits you might look up:

Black Chancery

Armstrong Curvise

Exmouth

On Dafonts or other sites you might look up script fonts.  I use Exmouth quite a bit myself.
