July 13, 20179 yr Popular Post that some got "postage due"....DAP has sent an apology. I just got this in an e mail. I would have stuck this on the original message but I couldn't find it. Dear DAP Customer, It has come to our attention that participants in the RapidFuse Wood sampling program have not yet received their sample or in some cases, had to pay due to insufficient postage. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you may have experienced. At DAP, we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, we did not meet your—or our own—expectations. After reviewing the situation, we have narrowed the cause to a shipping issue. We understand that as a customer, when you exchange your information for a free sample, you expect it should come at no cost to you and arrive in a timely manner. Our intentions were good; however, our delivery was not and for that we apologize. Because of this error on our part, we will be happy to reimburse any shipping expenses incurred or to send out another sample—this time with ample postage—immediately. We value your relationship and continuously commit ourselves to providing you with the highest level of service. If you have experienced any issues with your shipment, or if you have any further questions or comments regarding this matter, please let us know by replying to this email or contact us. Thank you, DAP Products Inc. Edited July 13, 20179 yr by Fred W. Hargis Jr
July 13, 20179 yr I haven't tried my sample as of yet. I want to test it on a turning project to see if it can stand the stresses of lateral force.
July 13, 20179 yr Popular Post Just got this from DAP, sounds like an upright company: Dear DAP Customer, It has come to our attention that participants in the RapidFuse Wood sampling program have not yet received their sample or in some cases, had to pay due to insufficient postage. Thank you, DAP Products Inc. ------- Something I learned from "Customer Service for Dummies" on how to recover for an error: 1. Apologize. Even if it was not your fault. 2. Promise to correct the problem. 3. Offer the offended person(s) a customer care token. Looks like they read the same book ;-) DAPSamples@gmail.com Edited July 13, 20179 yr by kmealy

Yes, I really hate it when in those rare instances I have a problem or complaint, I get a string of excuses. Excuse me, your problems are not my problems. I want you to make it better, not just give me excuses.
July 13, 20179 yr I received the same e-mail. I have used dap products for a long time and have always been happy. Guess not happy can take a hike. Dap takes care of its customers so its customers will always be customers. Old saying ( good to have a man in the house ). New saying ( good to have a good company on the site ). Thanks again DAP Preston Edwards
July 13, 20179 yr Glad you posted this. I got that email, and it was a good reminder to me to thank them for the sample.
