First, I apologize if this has already showed up here, I didn't see it and I foun d this on another forum....but it's really neat. Grain changes as thin slices of wood are peeled away.

Cool Video. If you turn you can see something similar when you try to keep a patter in the piece and then it does not go deep enough to keep . Also might see something similar with a plane

I noticed that some of the pictures showed a lot of saw dust beside the logs -- did they actually destroy the log doing the video? There were beautiful logs, it would be a shame if they ended up as a pile of dust instead of furniture!
