June 2, 20179 yr Author This is a wooden carved sculpture. Made with a single tree trunk, it has been recognized as the world's longest wood carving by the Guinness Book of World Records. The sculpture contains over 550 individually carved people. Not to mention all the buildings and foliage. It's is a replica of the famous Chinese painting "Along The River During The Quinming Festival" created by artist Zhang Zeduan during the Song Dynasty.. June 3, 20179 yr Can you just imagine...you send an unreal amount of man-hours carving this out, and get to the last little bit and screw something up major! Human talent, perseverance, and imagination never ceases to amaze me. Just plain jaw-dropping.
