Glad I'm not the only one

been decades...

not gonna happen again...

I told my wife my next move will be to that 6 foot space, and we have been here 16 years, the longest since we married 47 years ago.

21 years here. Never moving, of my own accord.

I paid $11,500 for the last house we lived in and I got it at 7% interest. I figured if fI waited another 6 months the interest rate would come down. It came down 40 years later:D

Not even if the big bad wolf huffs and puffs do I ever plan to move again until they're carrying me out on the stretcher...lived on this property a few weeks shy of 40 years.

Moved once in my life 20 years ago.  That is a traumatic experience and I don't want to do it again.  This place is my dream home and I take care of it as needed.  I'm am not against hiring things done.

That's where I'm at right now, maybe in another 3-4 months I'll be able to work in the shop......as for not moving, sometimes life dictates you move whether you want to or not.

PS, it was a year ago April we moved here...and I'm still not able to work in my shop.

In 5 days we will have lived in our house for 42 years.

I don't plan on going anywhere.

The only way I'll move again is if I hit the Power Ball lottery. Then I'll get a comfortable ranch type home and a big well equipped shop.

My next move will be to a kiln (and no, I'm not taking up pottery or glass making).  :P
