Popular Post kmealy Posted May 8, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted May 8, 2017 (edited) Here's two of the three sets of bunk beds I've made in the last couple of years. First will separate into two twins (make two sets of these), second is a triple bunk for when granchildren visit. First two were oak, then maple. Third was SYP, strictly functional. This was about the time I seriously wanted a bigger shop. Edited December 5, 2017 by Ron Dudelston tags added Cal, Grandpadave52, Stick486 and 9 others 12 Quote
lew Posted May 8, 2017 Report Posted May 8, 2017 Cool! Several years ago I built a set for the little neighbor girls. Mom picked the design. They're still sleeping in them! Cal and p_toad 2 Quote

Yes, we bought a different house -- shop space was one of the must-haves. Got it about a year ago, spent some time moving stuff out of the old place, then putting it on the market. Then doing the carpentry and electrical work here. Seemed like every day we had a truck or or trailer load we moved. Moved in a few months later. With the bunk beds (as well as some other bigger projects), it seemed like every time I changed to a different operation or different piece, I had to move a bunch of stuff around to get room to work.
