The weekend of the 24th and 25th, there will be a flight of B-25s landing at Grimes Field, in Urbana, OH   

 

The last Raider will be there, and he is 101 years young. 

$5 donation  at the gate is requested.   There will also be tickets to ride IN one of the planes, lasting about an hour, for $450 each.

I got shake hands with the Captain of the Memphis Belle, at an air show. Very moving experience.

 

Recently, a B-29 (Fifi) was on display at a nearby airport. Rides in the bombardier seat were going for just north of $1700!

Not a hard drive for two drivers. Pick me up on the way by.

It will be cool, one of those planes flies right over my house getting there (and back) and the roar is deafening because they fly so low.

They flew over the Lowes here in Bellefontaine,Oh  this evening, all of them.    LOUD  does not quite describe the sound they made.....I was inside  the store.....but it sounded like they were headed south to Grimes Field.....
