Thinking of starting off on Sketchup but was wondering if anyone uses it on Apple products? And if so, what version?

I don't use it on an Apple but a Sketchup Guru that I know does and it works perfectly. He uses Sketchup Pro ($$) but there is a free version available (Sketchup Make), too.

I have it on both our Apple computers (Desk Pro and a Mini Mac) and it works fine. I have Sketchupmake 2016 only because I've haven't upgraded yet. there are some nuances using it on a Mac, but I won't change to a windows computer. I have Dave Richard's CD as well as the Bob Lang set...Lang really encourages you to go with windows, and particularly a 3 button mouse. You do a lot of right clicking using it. I probably need to pint out I and not very fluent with it, though I have spent some time trying. Someday, maybe.
