February 24, 20179 yr Awhile back I promised you a demo of the Mathias Wandel Pantograph. Well I ran across this PDF of our October Woodworkers club NewsLetter where my cousin Paul ( builder of my pantograph) and I did a presentation on it. He explained the build, and I did a live demonstration. It is about half way down the pdf. http://nwwoodworkers.org/newsletters/October 2016 Newsletter.pdf Herb Edited November 23, 20178 yr by Ron Dudelston tags added
February 24, 20179 yr Herb that is really neat, you could almost add a computer to that sucker and it'd be a great shop made CNC! But I like yours better, an HHC, (Human Hand Controlled) instead of Computer Numerical Controlled!

You don't have to sign up,Dave, you are welcome to go to our web site http://www.nwwoodworkers.org and look at and down load the news letters. They go back many years, I have belonged for going on 12 years now , Paul took over the NewsLetter about 4 years ago, and does an exemplary job writing it up. He was an engineer tech writer before he retired. We appreciate the compliments , and response to this thread. Thanks ,guys. Herb Edited February 25, 20179 yr by Dadio

March 17, 20206 yr I dabbled with Pantographs for a few years. I started out by modifying a Hermes engraver. Everything kept coming out catawampus. Then I built one from plans off google. Still catawampus... So I made one from my planes. Now everything come out square.
